Good evening everyone in Madison Borough. As we all may know, there is a snow storm that is to hit our area this upcoming weekend. We are expecting roughly 18"-24" of snow. We want everyone to be as safe as possible but with this storm, we will ONLY be plowing the roads during the storm. We will be salting once we get all the roads and alleys cleared off late Sunday. To salt during the storm is a huge waste since we will just be plowing it off each time they are plowed. There will be a plow truck along with a skidstere with a plow going through town throughout the night and day on Saturday and Sunday. Please try and keep all vehicles off the road way and not park in the alleys and roads. We also ask to keep traffic to a minimum and only go out if its an emergency. We dont want you to get stuck. If there is an emergency, please call 911. We do expect to have power outages so make sure your phones are charged and also check on your neighbors.
